Nice Airport.
Normally a pleasant experience. Not this flight in. The majority of our bags were left in Atlanta due to a weight issue because of a FULL flight. Understandable yet NO ONE in the airport chose to tell us this! It was not until we waited 20+ mins for bags and none came and no employees were visible did someone set off the emergency exit that got the attention of an employee. They then advised why the bags were not on the flight. It seems the prudent thing to do would have been to advise us of this as we reached the terminal--not after we have waited and gone to extreme measures to get an employee. Did they think they could just hide out and we would leave with no bags???? Terrible, terrible service. Although the bags came in the next day, I received one of my bags and another belonging to someone else. How????? How did they get re-tagged with the incorrect information? I had 2 separate conversations with employees about my bag(S). You would think they would have a reference for each passenger to know how many bags they failed to put on the plane. Delta (1800) sure knew. Delta knew the exact status of my bags. Total fiasco by the delivery company as well--G&G Gopher.....that is another nightmare in itself.
The Starbucks kiosk lacked quality customer service. However my Grande Frappa Iced Decaf Mocha was exceptional.
Apparently being a sky priority member means absolutely nothing to these people. Waited in the priority line while everyone else went ahead of me. The lady said 'they was here first'... I guess that is what happens when you're the only white person in line in Georgia. Why have the program then? Service was slow as hell.. Completely incompetent. I notified security of an unattended bag.. No one claimed it and it sat in the terminal until I left.
