Fortunately, after much scrambling, we found a more professional salon for my wife… but my wife was definitely robbed of her much-anticipated wedding-day experience with her daughters. At the end of the day, the owner does not belong in the service business.
We were obviously shocked and in disbelief as the wedding was taking place later than day. After much pleading and crying, the owner agreed to see the bride and my other daughter, but she specifically told my wife that she could not be seen. What?
Our wedding planner booked us to get our hair and makeup here from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. That morning our wedding rehearsal ran longer than expected..about 15 minutes over. Once my sister (the bride) and I got into Capelli, we were told since we were 15 mins late she could only do one persons hair or makeup. After my mother pleaded with her on the phone, she decided to cancel the whole appointment even though we already had paid her $50 in advance. After my sister (bride) and I cried in the Salon, she decided to do my sisters hair & makeup and my makeup. But, she said my mother was not allowed to be in the salon. Later, I asked friends who were listening to my mom on the phone and they said she didn't say anything to warrent her being banned from the salon. She did do a good job on both our hair and makeup but the experience was ruined. We planned to have mimosas and bond before my sister went down the isle. But all we got was stress and tears! There was hardly any customers in there so it was not busy at all.
Nobody thought there could possibly be an issue since they reserved such a large block of time... and what wedding goes as planned anyway? To our bewilderment, the owner told my wife over the phone that because they were 15 minutes late, she canceled the entire appointment.

Book elsewhere! My wife and daughters had a horrific experience. My daughter was getting married the day of the fiasco, July 7, 2017. Before, they had reserved a half-day spa, hair and make-up sessions for three people– from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It was promised to be a wonderful wedding day, a mother-bride-sister day... spending time together, relaxing and drinking mimosa. Not to be!
I give two stars because she did eventually do my sister and my hair & makeup.
What? Who does that to a wedding party?
Because of some plan changes, the rehearsal was move to early the morning of the wedding. We were all done at 11:15 AM and my wife called the owner to let them know they were all on their way.
According to my daughters, there was nobody else in the salon… no one but the idle employees!
