Dorks is AWESOME! They are really nice, with reasonable prices for their books! I love them so much!
After getting my school books special ordered (cause they did not have them), two out of four of the books were not the correct books for my classes. The books where listed in good condition, but were far from good condition with papers and writing in them, and another coming apart at the spine. I ended up going to the book store on campus and buying my books brand new for just $10 more than what Dork’s Bookstore was charging me. So I took all the books back and was told I would have to pay $71 for a so called “restocking” fee. After explaining to them for 45 minutes that I was not paying them to restock books when they made the mistake, I ended up paying $12 just to restock the books that were right ones (which is fine), but I specifically told them TWICE which card to charge & to contact me before doing so. Of course, I was never contacted and the wrong card was charge. They are unprofessional, and need to pay more attention to what they are doing. I will NEVER go back and discourage anyone I know from using them.
Get your books from Amazon !!!!! This place I swear my finals were on the 7th and they wanted the books back by the 9th the that I had rented. Everytime I rent from them they con me out of a late fee. I bought two graphing calculators at different times that I was unable to use or return. They won't buy half the books back from you but they are sure to inform you that you can donate them.
