They get you in and out. The staff are nice and friendly.
Worst place ever. Daughter was brought in by ambulance around 5:30 it is now 9:30 and is still in the waiting room has not been seen by the Doctor. She was Triage at 7:30 with a low grade temperature. Very congested and very sick. No one has offered her a mask to protect the other patients to include an elderly lady with chest pains sitting right behind her as well as little babies in the er. They are calling patients to the back that came in after my daughter. Unbelievable.
Walked in and girl at the front looked bored. Didn't even greet me. First question out of her mouth was, "what's your social?" She put on gloves to handle my ID and continued to look bored. I told her I was traveling and the only thing my insurance would pay for is ER. She didn't even ask for my insurance card. Nurse was somewhat nice, though preoccupied. They put me in a room quickly and I thought this would be fast. Ten minutes later the DR arrived and handed me a map. Without making eye contact or introducing himself, he told me to go to a clinic. I told him my insurance wouldn't pay for a clinic and he brushed me off and said I should go to the clinic. Then he turned around and left the room while I was still asking questions. There were three people sitting around when I walked out of the room and none of them said a word to me. I had to find my way to the door alone and go home. Nobody cared. Nobody helped. I'd say, "avoid this hospital," but it appears everyone already does. I was their only patient and they didn't want me.
I went in to the Er for severe knee and foot pain!! I went in the back and the np asked what was going on and I explained I do have a nerve condition and I'm not sure if it's from that or something new bc now I can't put my foot flat to the floor. She stated to me I need to go to community health to get meds. I said I don't need meds I need my knee and foot checked. She said I can't help with X-rays or referrals bc this is not an emergency. I said it is if I'm here. She said it's nothing I can do sorry, and sent me out the door!! She never put in a order for anything. This is going to speed up my process of finding a attorney!! I hate Phoebe merged.
when our 8yo came down with Strep at 11pm. ER Staff was great with our scared little guy. They actually taught him how not to cry during the shot.. I thought I was at a children's hospital. Needs a 6th star.
