My pics prove it all. If I had to say one good thing about the hotel, they have direct TV. The hotel is to outdated and unkept to bear the Days Inn name. Please shut them down or hold them to a standard. Please do not stay here.
This place is the WORST!!! I've called and filed a complaint with their corporate offices because of how terrible this hotel was. When booking over the phone we were told that it was "recently renovated". When we got into our room only 1 light worked. All the lights were crooked and coated in a thick layer of dust. The bed spreads were covered in cigarette burns. The smell of mold was over whelming! When we went to turn on the AC, it was infested with roaches! The toilet leaked all over the floor every time you flushed and the mildew in the shower was thick. The ice bucket was filled with red flecks of God only knows what. The smoke alarm was dismantled and had wires dangling out of it. The tiny television had tons of wires hanging off the sides. The carpet had been partially torn back and dry wall dust was everywhere. I swear, even the alarm clock had white mold growing inside of it! The walls were filthy! The bathroom was disgusting. The wifi didn't even reach our room. When we tried to switch rooms, we were told that they were over-booked and that someone else would gladly take our room. We were evacuees from Irma and had very little choice of where we could stay that would take pets. We ended up staying the night because we couldnt find another place. I awoke so extremely sick from all the mold. I could hardly breathe and was seriously concerned about my health. My husband and son woke up with tons of bites all over their arms, legs and abdomens. As we were checking out we walked past a block of rooms that had the doors and windows open, the bed sheets were all stripped and once again the smell of mold was extreme! Also, not that we would have eaten here anyway but the continental breakfast they offered was literally just toast and cereal. I wish I could post the pictures of this place. Please don't stay here. It's a hazard to your health.
Shame on you Wyndham for calling this one of your properties! I realized that I'm staying here out of necessity due to the evacuation of Florida. So I have a slew of photos for you if I can attach them at the end. Don't worry you'll be able to find them on TripAdvisor. So a trash can filled with yellow liquid that looks like someone pissed in it... turns out to be water (we hope) dripping from the ceiling. The television doesn't work it just tells you to keep pressing input. The guy at the front desk couldn't help. The door doesn't shut completely looks like it's been jimmied a million times. The TV remote as black electrical tape on it for repair. The room doesn't smell clean so I wiped all the flat surfaces down with a Clorox Clean-Up. There's a peephole in the painted glass that my husband used the black electrical tape from the remote to cover it. For safety the water dripping down the ceiling is dripping down to the plugged in hair dryer. Which has the socket that is not even flush with the wall. We would definitely like our money back. The only positive note I can offer as we pulled back the bed sheets and there are no bed bugs or we wouldn't be here. Bed was comfortable I must say.
We arrived for check in at 6pm. This was Death Valley. Front desk clerk shaking, sweating, eyes red and glassy, very rude. The maintenance guy was laid back in a chair with his shirt unbutton asleep. The room smelled like soiled baby diapers, had a power cord going across the mirror, stains on comforter, stained carpet, restroom had ring in toilet, shower head loose you could see in wall. There is nothing positive about this place. I requested a refund she refused saying no cancellation I immediately checkout and lost my money cause it was filthy and not safe with people running around yelling like hoodlums. Doesn't deserve a star at all. BEWARE DON'T GO
This is not a good place to stay. The front desk staff looks miserable and treat you as such. As you can tell from the pictures; The smoke alarm is non existent, the light fixtures do not sit in the socket properly, which are hazardous, the toilet looks like it has permanent poop in it, which a good cleaning would solve. The shower repair was shoddy and I am not sure what that was that leaked on the front door. I am not making this up. The bed linen did not smell fresh at all. What little sleep i got, I slept in my full clothes, because it was just dirty. The hallway was dimly lit, and if you are waking to the other side of the hotel, you will feel unsafe. The pool looked disgusting and infested, which was green with mold. The least you could do is cover it up.
Dirty, beat up. Plain ol' spills of gunk on the floor. Obviously housekeeping didn't clean. Lots of workers partying outside. Needed good woodwork cleaning, painting, redecorating. Mirror from some past furniture was just leaning against the wall. The door lock needed oiling as we pretty much got locked in because it stuck so bad. The "breakfast" they advertise consisted of prepackaged cinnamon toast, and cereal with bad tasting juice.
