The staff was amazing but there are some improvements that need to be made. The floor was extremely filthy and left the bottom of our feet black as ever. The linen that was used for the beds were very dingy and had us itching throughout our whole stay. If they improve in those areas then they would be perfect.
First off, the cheap dresser and nightstand are in need of replacement. I wouldn't even use them for clothes, since they were sticky feeling. The room smells of smoke. All of my clothes now have the smoke smell on them. After the first day of renting, I told the front counter that my large burner on stove top was sparking when turned on. 2 weeks later, and still not fixed. Don't let the $169.99 move in price fool you. It's only for the first week and with taxes, is $235.49. Each week after is $199.99, which with taxes is $269.99. It is cheaper than staying at a real hotel, but not nearly as nice. Thank goodness I only needed it for 3 weeks, til I found an apartment, which is much cheaper and nicer per month, just had to sign a 6 month lease.
I'm in Albany 3 days a week for business purposes. Instead of booking hotels every week thought I would try InTown suites and be able to leave some items in the room... more convenient than unloading and re packing the car. I stayed in a unit toward the rear and the whole area, stairwells etc smelled of cigarette smoke and urine... kind of like Bourbon Street. The room also smelled of cigarettes and old carpet. The exterior door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point... warped but would lock... bathroom door and jamb broken. Shower curtain rod out of the wall and resting on top of the unit. On the positive side the AC unit and fridge worked very well and there was always hot water. The most aggravating thing to me is no one is at the office until 11 am to 7 pm I believe. And just because the office is " open" it didn't mean there was anyone in there . Two or three times I went to the office during business hours only to find the door locked and a sign saying be back shortly. The online renewal only worked on the day I needed to renew and I had to call the office to get some requirede info reprogrammed in order to renew online. The last two weeks I was there I got a call on the morning of my renewal day saying " it looks like you've checked out, what would you like us to do with the items in your room?" Well I haven't checked out and when I do I'll let you know. So for me this place didn't work. I'm back to hotels which have much nicer rooms and whose ancillary services work much better.
Very dirty and in need of a remodel. Carpets turn your feet and socks black. The front desk says "the carpets are 12 years old. We can shampoo the carpet but it won't do any good". Bathroom sinks pulling off the walls. Even the ceilings are filthy. Residual smoke smell in every room. (I looked at 5 rooms before I found one I could live in). My clothes hanging in closet area now smell like I smoke(I don't). WiFi is very weak even though it is required that you pay for it.
The rooms were nice but a little small. I also didn't like the fact that I couldn't park near my room. It wasn't over crowed. My room was not that easy to park near for some reason. Other than that though. Friendly staff, clean room, all you could want to watch on the TV. I liked it.
