The appetizer we chose was the boneless wings with hot buffalo. They weren't bad, but they were a bit vinegary.
Liked that I didn't have to get out to pick up to go order. And was able to order online. Took a little time for someone to come out but food was yummy and the lady was nice enough.
We visited last Monday, 10/30/17 around 7PM. Our waitress was Jabrya. I think she went by J.
Admittedly, the manager on duty did stop by briefly at each table to ask if everything was okay, but I was in too foul a mood to say everything I wanted about it. Half the food sucked, I didn't have a drink most of my meal, and the service was completely lacking.
J didn't even bring us our food.
I ordered the chicken with beer cheese on it and broccoli. It was super salty and not really that great. I did not finish it.
My friend and I sat in for lunch they rushed our food out half cooking her burger which she asked to be well done.. And service was bad its like the waitress intentionally kept walking around us.. My club sandwhich was nasty..... Disappointing truly..
When it was time to check out -- when J finally came back around -- we had to do it on another tablet because the one on the table had already died. She stood there while I checked out, even though there was a survey and I was intent on filling out some of it at least. She even said, "Oh, you're doing the survey?" and just continued to stand there. I don't think she had a clue.
Was seated promptly...sat there 40 minutes and was not waited on. After 45 minutes, I left. A waste of an evening. Never again and the sad part is the fact that they were not packed.
The service was absolutely slow. I have a few comments on that and it mostly has to do with the speed of getting my water or my wife's drinks. I had an empty glass of water for 20 minutes even though I requested more I had to remind J that I still had not received it. My wife waited a similar amount of time for her first drink, so when she ordered another I just requested she go ahead and bring two and also to bring me another water.
My wife got the WHSKY Bacon burger and fries. It was very good. Thankfully, she only ate half of it and let me have the other half. It had the right ratio to everything in my opinon and the burger was cooked very nicely.
Lunch time and bartender had no customer service skills watsoever..she talked to another co-worker half the time I was there..I had to ask for plates and silverware. She didn't even asked what kind of dressing I wanted on my salad..just handed me the salad with what looked like minimal ranch as possible on it..how did she not Kno that I wanted Cesar dressing on the side smh I still tipped her and left..won't be sitting at the bar again if she's working.
We went for the 2 for 20 deal which included an appetizer. Not a bad deal. My wife also enjoyed a few Dollaritas. I had water.
Applebee's can be such a hit or miss. This visit was pretty much a miss.
