this was a great place to eat at one time.last 2 times. 1st i got an intestinal bug.2nd and last time the grill chicken salad had eggs ,they looked like they were left overs from earlier that day. the food is not fresh anymore.
This is the first big screw up in about seven years. That is pretty good. Love the place so much. I will continue to eat there. One screw up in years is forgivable. I wish my record was one screw up in seven years. Thanks Cracker Barrell....
Great service from Miss Brenda as usual. The biscuits did not look like the usual big fluffy Cracker biscuits. Brenda brought us extra but the kitchen needs to do a better job. Loved the shopping of course. I was able to replace some scarves that were lost in the Jan. 22 tornado.
Arrived 9/23/2017 @ 9:07 am and was seated immediately as seating was about half filled. We waited on our food for 53 minutes after having to ask waitress twice if our food was ever coming. Our food arrived at 10;00 am. When food did arrive eggs were cold and casserole was also. Explained to cashier at checkout @ 10:10 that it was truly the worst experience ever at this location and We would not be back. She responded that yes they were having Cook issues and wait was a little longer that normal....Not once did anyone ever say that the wait would be longer ...Good Bye Cracker Barrell....
Have eaten here for years. Always enjoyed it until last night. They really seemed to struggle to get the order. We called it in as we sometime do. The lady that answered tried to connect us, but no one would pick up the phone. She tried several times but each time no one would pick up the phone. Finally we gave it to her which was against protocol we found out. When we got there the order was still not taken. Luckily the manager straightened it out. We got our order, but it was almost an hour from when we called it first into CB. Food was excellant as usual.
I love Cracker Barrel, but this one is one I may not visit again. When business is slow, expect the same from the service. Used to be large portions, but obviously they are cutting back. My wife ordered the sugar cured ham dinner and the single slice she received was small with a big piece of fat in the middle. Never saw the waitress after getting our food and she didn't even bring it out. We ate and left while people who were there before us didn’t get their dinners yet. Unfortunately, not on my list favorite restaurants anymore.
